Aspen Publishing is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Growth Channel Marketing Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing and other channel managers to contribute to the success of our Marketing team’s mission.

The ideal candidate is a versatile marketing professional with expertise in digital and social media, passionate about promoting educational programs and driving new student registrations. A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt and contribute to the growth of a young product line are essential. Preference will be given to Boston based candidates who will work in our Burlington, MA, office with a hybrid office/work-from home schedule; however, we will also consider candidates based in Dallas, TX.

TITLE: Growth Channel Marketing Manager
REPORTS TO: Head of Marketing
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
LOCATION: Burlington, MA (preferred)/Dallas, TX

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for leading the execution of marketing campaigns and strategies for the JD-Next program by driving awareness and increasing course enrollments through Aspen’s growth marketing channel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute tactical campaigns for the JD-Next program using an omnichannel marketing approach, with a strong emphasis on increasing brand awareness and fostering community engagement through social media platforms
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive the adoption of JD-Next institutional products, including JD-Next Bridge and JD-Next Pre-Law
  • Develop and manage the email communication strategy for all JD-Next consumer audiences, including prospective, current, and graduated students. Additionally, oversee the communication strategy for JD-Next partner audiences, such as law school administrators, admissions teams, and pre-law advisors
  • Lead public relations initiatives to increase awareness of JD-Next, working in collaboration with a third-party communications firm
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing Aspen partners, including Spaced Repetition, NITA, and Write.law
  • Research and represent JD-Next at trade shows to promote the program and build strong, lasting relationships
  • Ensure consistency in branding and assets across all campaigns, maintaining alignment with brand guidelines
  • Perform competitor analysis and assess market demand for current and future Aspen products and services
  • Collect and analyze campaign performance data and results using Google Analytics and other relevant tools
  • Ability to adapt marketing campaigns to dynamic business priorities
  • Attending conferences to further marketing knowledge and to represent Aspen Publishing
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years related experience
  • A proven track record of successful marketing campaign support and tactical execution
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Creative Suite and CRM management
  • Creative agency experience preferred
  • Education industry experience a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan and complete work on tight deadlines and budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with professional and technical staff, outside prospects, customers, salespersons, and third-party partners
  • Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions
  • Act as liaison between internal and external groups
  • Willing to travel occasionally (domestically)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability in working independently and as part of a team
